Billing Representative
2 Billing Representatives Shifts:
8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Position Summary:
Completing all billing aspects of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, managed care (HMO/PPO), workers compensation and any other third party payor.
Position Accountabilities and Performance Criteria:
1) Responsible for completing all billing functions for any third party claim to be submitted for payment.2) Responsible for all data entry for all electronic and paper submission capabilities.
3) Document all account information into hospital’s health information system.
4) Complete all additional information request.
5) Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Position Requirements:
1) Personal Computer experience.2) Type 45 wpm minimum.
3) Ten key by touch.
4) Customer Service experience.
5) Work 40 hours per week.
